The first step for many people in becoming a part of our church is to come along on a Sunday.
Sunday gatherings are about having fun with friends, and experiencing God’s love first hand. We gather together at Spittal Community Centre but occasionally during the Summer at a local Beach (PLEASE CHECK CALENDAR). Absolutely everyone is welcome, whether you are familiar with church or are very new to the whole thing and are just curious to explore faith. We are pretty informal. Fresh Kingdom Coffee or Clipper Tea and tray bakes are served from 10.15am to help those of us who are still not fully functioning on all cylinders to reach consciousness! At 10.30am there’s a time of singing modern worship songs. The children (1-9’s) then go out to enjoy WayKids church, with trained and fully disclosed leaders. The older children from Year 5 and up (9-14s) go out to Youth fortnightly, and have lots of fun, games, and bible study. The rest of us listen to an engaging talk based on teaching from the Bible. There’s more time for worship and for reflective prayer, before the service ends at about 12.00pm. You can also watch our services online, either during the Sunday gathering live, or afterwards via YouTube.
